Bright truck of frogs

Just an impulse buy cause I like the look, and I can explain away the £20 purchase as a wind and rain reduction assist while driving

My roof liner is sagging slightly, and is also quite dirty. so todays task was take it out and clean it, also see if I can fix the sagy'ness

After seeing someone online explain how good the Valay Foam upholstery cleaner was I thought id give it a try :o
It works, it works very well. I seem to have a new headliner now. the saggy is still there because I want to run new wires for the radio but I know how I will fix it 

Since my truck came with the plastic liner the pockets were missing, fortunately someone online was selling a pair, they were not in the best of conditions but that just means I won't feel guilty modifying them.

plan is to have them lock/unlock with the rest of the truck but for now they are just filling the holes

So my previous post was about replacing part of the cooling system, at the time I noticed the hoses felt like they were past their usable life. 
Today they demonstrated that they needed replacing. One split on a country road so with a bit of mechanical empathy and a lot of heat monitoring I managed to get the car to civilization (ASDA) one Redbull and some replacement water I was back on my way.

Unfortunately all my local places that would have suitable hose just told me nothing was available so it has been replaced by a piece from a Transit van.

On the plus side my engine bay is a bit cleaner 

Since my first drive in the pickup I've know about a pinhole in the thermostat housing, finally the replacement arrived, cheap apparently means long delay. 

Cheap also means the replacement temp sensor that came bundled with it don't actually work, luckily my original was still fine 

thought id take a few panels off today and look for some rust, once again pleasantly surprised by the lack of it. as a treat I polished up the hockey sticks. 

one day I might clean the whole car and not just bits at a time
